The Silver Slayer is built to do one thing: put more coho (silver salmon) in your net. Designed for Puget Sound silvers, this salmon rig combines flash, glow, UV, and a deadly hoochie presentation that coho can’t resist.
At its core is an 11” rotating flasher with a holographic purple / holographic silver front and a UV/glow back. This engineered color combo throws baitfish flash and purple strike-trigger tones silvers key on in brighter conditions, reflects UV deeper down, and emits steady glow light for trolling at depth — making the Silver Slayer highly effective across a wide range of fishing conditions, from early morning shallows to deeper midday runs.
Tied behind the flasher is a white UV hoochie, rigged on a fluorocarbon leader with tandem barbless hooks for reliable hookups and full compliance with Puget Sound regulations. A string of glow beads separates the hooks, adding subtle light contrast while also protecting the leader from the sharp teeth of hungry coho salmon.
Each rig also includes an extra snap swivel to attach directly to your mainline (the line from your reel). Just tie it on using the included instructions, clip on the flasher, and start trolling. For even better results, we recommend adding a scent gel to the hoochie or a small herring strip on the top hook to make the presentation absolutely irresistible.
